Rose Hill Center is a private, non-profit, residential psychiatric treatment facility located on 372 wooded, rolling acres in northwest Holly Township, between Flint and Detroit.  Founded in 1992, Rose Hill offers a unique residential treatment and rehabilitation program services up to 51 residents at a time.  Rose Hill's major program components include therapeutic work skills, clinical care, social interaction, recreation and independent living skills.  A nationally recognized model of care, Rose Hill gives residents the opportunity to participate in one of five daily work programs--farming, groundskeeping, housekeeping, kitchen or horticulture.  The on-campus townhouse transitional living program provides seven 2- and 3-bedroom, self-contained apartment homes that offer independent living in a secure setting.  Those referred to the Rosehill program must be 18 years of age, diagnosed with mental illness, not actively suicidal or harmful to others, willing to participate in a structured daily program and not currently abusing drugs or alcohol.
