Founded in 1983, the Center for Eating Disorders offers treatment, support, and referral services for people with eating disorders, their families, and the community. Programs include Bodywise, treatment for binge eating and compulsive eating disorders, the comprehensive outpatient treatment services for children, adolescents, and adults with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and related disorders. A weekly support group for those in recovery from eating, weight, and body image issues meets every Monday night from 6-7. Call for further information. Low-fee treatment is available through the internship training program. Professional training and supervision also available.
