The Drinkwise program assists individuals in decreasing or eliminating their alcohol consumption and is appropriate for individuals with mild to moderate alcohol dependence who are motivated to eliminate the negative consequences they are experiencing from alcohol. Clients complete educational sessions with counselors; ongoing homework and documented self monitoring are required.  Drinkwise is licensed to provide prevention services through the Michigan Office of Substance Abuse Services.  Drinkwise counselors are certified providers of the program with masters degrees in social work, nursing and health education.
