The Counseling Clinic is a non-profit training center operated by the Department of Leadership & Counseling. Clinical services are offered by advanced graduate students in the counseling program under the supervision of EMU professional counseling faculty. The Counseling Clinic offers a broad range of counseling services that address most emotional and behavioral issues (depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career choice, academic problems) as well as offering parent education and stress prevention programming. A variety of career and personality screenings are available (MBTI, Strong, CPI, BDI, Anxiety, Occupational Stress, MCMI, etc…) at low cost. The Counseling Clinic offers a free initial consultation for all clients. Ongoing services are free of charge for all students, faculty, and staff at EMU. For all others who continue counseling, a sliding fee scale is applied. This fee can be waived due to financial difficulties. The Counseling Clinic offers services during the entire academic year and throughout the summer. Locator Map & Directions |
