The Family Assessment Clinic (FAC) is a multidisciplinary team that serves the community by providing evaluations and treatment to children and families affected by possible or actual child maltreatment.  The FAC provides comprehensive family assessments of complex child welfare cases, extended assessments of children experiencing physical/sexual abuse and trauma, family/parent/child abuse-focused/evidence-informed treatment, case record reviews and court testimony.  Cases are referred primarily by child protection, foster care and adoption units, courts, law enforcement agencies, and other social agencies. Self-referrals are also welcome.  The FAC provides medical evaluations of children, evaluative interviews of adults and children, psychological testing, case consultation, and individual, family, and group treatment. A treatment group is offered to non-offending mothers of sexually abused children.  Call for current treatment group offerings. Most insurances accepted and sliding scale available for treatment services. For further information, contact (734) 926-4650.
