The Family Assessment Clinic is a multidisciplinary team that provides assessments, treatment, case record reviews and court testimony on cases where there are questions of child maltreatment. Cases are referred primarily from child protection, foster care and adoption units, courts, law enforcement agencies and other social agencies. Self-referrals are also welcome. The Clinic provides medical evaluations of children, evaluative interviews of adults and children, psychological testing, case consultation, and individual, family and group treatment. A revolving treatment group is offered to non-offending mothers of sexually abused children. Call for current treatment group offerings. Sliding scale available for treatment clients.
