The U-M Psychological Clinic serves residents of Ann Arbor and neighboring communities, including students, staff and faculty of the University of Michigan. We offer a broad range of outpatient services for individuals and couples, as well as group psychotherapies for commonly occurring psychological and interpersonal problems. The treatments that we provide are research-based and known to be effective for specific psychological symptoms and co-occurring difficulties that our clients often face. The U-M Psychological Clinic is a professional training site for psychologist, social workers and psychiatrists, who are supervised by senior faculty licensed in these disciplines. Professional staff have expertise in established theoretical models and methodologies that are applied in an integrative approach, tailored to individual needs. Group psychotherapies offered at the Clinic focus on; anxiety reduction, mood management, eating regulation, attention/organization problems, relational difficulties and caregivers stress, mindfulness and self-compassion. The Clinic also provides psycho-educational testing to identify and assist with learning and attentional problems. Services are affordable and provided in a confidential, supportive, accepting environment. Insurances accepted at this time are Aetna, M-PremierCare/BCN, BCBS, BCC.
