SEMCA is the regional coordination agency designated by the Michigan Department of Community Health/Bureau of Substance Abuse Services to administer federal and state substance abuse treatment and prevention programs. SEMCA services clients residing in Wayne County (excluding the City of Detroit). Services include screening assessment referral and follow-up; outpatient individual, family & group treatment; intensive outpatient treatment (adult & adolescent); women's intensive outpatient treatment and intensive outpatient treatment with domiciliary care.
