DCI's Adult Services Division provides many different types of service to enhance the overall functioning of individuals age 18 and up. Our goal is to help develop and support the adult's participation in family and community living as well as their ability to live a healthy and productive lifestyle. Depending upon need and program specifications, services may be provided in the consumer's home, community or on-site at DCI's northwest Detroit facility. Specific services include: Individual therapy and treatment, case management, vocational readiness, support with daily living skills, housing procurement, dual diagnosis groups, medication monitoring, psychiatric and nursing support, health coordination, parenting support, hospital diversion, assistance with transportation, access to the entire CareLink and Detroit Wayne County Community Mental Health continuum of care.

Development Centers Child & Adolescent Services

DCI has been providing comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents and their families living in northwest Detroit and Redford since 1983. We are a leader in the area on treating children who exhibit signs of depression, violence, anxiety or those youth that are having difficulty functioning in their home, school or community environment. Specific services include: Screening for service need, assessment for level of functioning, individual, family and group therapy and treatment, psychiatric evaluation, psychotropic medication and monitoring when medically necessary, case management services, access to the entire CareLink and Detroit Wayne County
Community Mental Health continuum of care.
