Somatic and Sexual Sovereignty Four-Part Workshop (12 CEUs)

How present are you in your own body? How comfortable are you discussing sexuality related topics with your clients?

Join certified Somatic Psychotherapy expert, Hillary Baldwin Steller, LMSW, SEP and AASECT certified sex therapist and author Heidi Sproull LMSW, CST for a journey in clinician self discovery and clinical skill development.

This four-part workshop series is specifically designed for clinical social workers and mental health professionals who have a desire to be clinically versed in introductory somatic psychotherapy and sex therapy concepts, framing and skills. Each of the four training modules will be three-and-a-half hours in length and are planned for September 12 and 26, and October 10 and 17, 2025.

The four separate sessions will be taught in-person and include didactic, discussion based, and experiential content delivered through a trauma-informed lens. While the four sessions can stand alone, they are meant to be interdependent with one session building on the next, and the most comprehensive learning will be achieved by participants completing the four-part series. A total of 12 CEUs are available for social workers.

All workshops will be held at Bamboo Coworking, 200 S. 1st St., Ann Arbor, MI 48104, in the 3rd floor classroom.
There is ample street, lot, and garage parking within one block.

Announcement - Transition of Michigan Mental Health Networker Honoring a Legacy and Welcoming a New Chapter. I'm excited to share a meaningful update about the future of Michigan Mental Health Networker, a resource that has served Michigan's mental health community for over 30 years. Founded by Hugh McPherson, the Networker has been a trusted source of connection, collaboration, and support for professionals across Michigan. What Hugh built is much more than a newsletter or website - it is a community hub, created with care, consistency, and a deep understanding of the field. It has been his labor of love. As of August 15, 2025, the Networker is beginning a new chapter as part of Juniper Group Co, LLC. It will now operate as a DBA (doing business as) of Juniper Group, allowing us to carry forward its legacy while continuing to support and serve the community it was built for. What's Staying the Same: The Networker name and mission you've come to rely on; the commitment to Michigan-centric, accessible, and community-focused communication; Support for the same professionals, organizations, and causes. This transition reflects my deep respect for the work Hugh has done and my commitment to preserving the values and relationships that define the Networker. I'm honored to carry this legacy forward. Thank you for being part of this community-driven work. Questions? networker@junipergroup.co
